WELCOME, WAMBAN KOKO

The political atmosphere in Koko/Besse/Maiyama is taking another shape, by the appearance of Alhaji Shehu Muhammad C S P (rtd), Wamban Koko for the aspiration of member house of representatives Abuja.

Politically, the Wamban Koko is out for the seat by invitation of the people of the constituency, because of some reasons best known to them only, and the Wambai has already answered their call, and is all out for the contest.

If we turn and look through history of this young gentleman Alhaji Shehu Muhammad, the Wamban Koko, when in police service has demonstrated bravely in his assignment as the ADC to the former governor of Katsina State.

His services in the police in Katina, has given him an accereleted development and the presentation of devidence of the democracy to the good people of Katsina State, which may not be forgotten throughout the history of Katsina state.

The glantly services given by the Wambai while in service, attracted the attention of his people, which made Sarkin Koko Alhaji Shehu Salihu to turbaned him as Wamban Koko, considering the philanthropist services he rendered to his people.

Alhaji Shehu Muhammad is highly regarded and respected by his people, because of the assistance and the work he has done to them.

These gestures, the people of Koko/Besse/Maiyama considered it fit to invite him to come and contest the seat, so that he may represent them at the National Assembly.

They believed that as a former police officer, he may be vocal enough to initiate for his people and debate it for the benefit of his people at the National Assembly.

Alhaji Shehu Muhammad has contributed a lot to the development of his area, this made him famous. He has done a lot of contributions that he may not be forgotten throughout the history of the constituency.

Before Wambai come to lights, he contributed a lot to the development and spread of Islam, by building mosques and the Islamiyyah schools for the religion to be taught to the younger ones.

Realizing that, his people are suffering from the shortage of water, Alhaji Shehu Muhammad constructed a lot of motorize boreholes and opened dug wells for the rural communities. This in no small measure, reduced the shortage of water, which for long his people suffer from.

Alhaji Shehu Mohammad was not happy with high rate of unemployment among the youths of his area, therefore, used his influences and the personality to secure jobs for a large number of youths in the area, such as police, immigration service, custom service, prison service and other civil service in both the state and the federal levels.

So it’s not surprising, if Wambai got hundreds support of people, because no one does, what he did to the people of Koko/Besse/Maiyama federal constituency.

Being education the bed rock of the development of any society, Wamban Koko encouraged youths to further their education by purchasing and distribution of admission forms of various high institutions of learning.

For those students who gained admission into high institutions, and has no registration fees, the Wamban Koko has paid for them, so as to continue their studies. He also built and renovated some blocks of classes in schools in the constituency.

Alhaji Shehu Mohammad is very religious, interesting in reading Qur’an and worshiping almighty Allah, peace loving, truthful, sincere and God fearing gentleman.
