CHAPTER ONE

1.1    MEANING OF SIWES

Student industrial work experience is a program designed by institution to expose students to the practical aspect of his/her course of study this training work experience is essential component in the development of practical and professional skill required of each student as aid to prospective employment as a student of building technology I have been able to obtain.

1.2    AIM AND OBJECTIVE

Aim: - My aims at this SIWES learn about practical aspect from that I have thought in the school.

OBJECTIVE

1.      It prepares student four work situation they may Likely to meet after graduation.

2.      It provides student with opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge on real work situation.

3.      It provides revenue for student in Nigeria institution to acquire industrial skilled and experience in knowledge in the course of study.

1.3    SCOPE OF THE REPORT

The report shows the affective performances during four month SIWES program with Yauri  L G A department of building technology November to February, 2018 bring the end of sixteen weeks program during the program I was involved in Construction of  Works which I have been introduce to setting out, excavation, concrete and foundation.

1.3 SO POPE OF THE REPORT

            The report shows the effective performance during for month SIWES program with Habibu Engineering Nig Ltd Building Construction Company Birnn Kebbi from November, to February, 2018 which bring the end Sixteen Weeks program during the program I was involved in construction of Road, Drainage and Culvert construction.
